In addition to this, Alekos Fassianos had a close connection with the island of Tzia (also known as Kea), where he owned a house. This island retreat was more than a simple residence; it was his creative haven where he could devote himself fully to his creative process and be inspired by the beauty of Greek nature, the traditional architecture of Tzia and the serenity of the island. He returned there after spending time in Paris, soaking up the sun of the Aegean sea. Today, his residence is open to visitors, usually during the summer months.
